Ever since 2002 I rummage with my camera through the region of my youth, the Northeast Polder, ever planned as the perfect land. In twelve years’ time a photo book has developed out of dreams and clay: Polderlichaam.

We call ourselves Opgemärkt and we want to show the world that a sustainable way of life is not only important or socially acceptable, but that it is exceptionally beautiful and easy.
