This is a flyer I designed in 2014 for one of the Nachtelijke Dwalingen, a series of performative events that took place in and around the Oude Kerk. The idea was that the flyers would show not an illustration of the artists’ works, but instead something found around the Oude Kerk—in this case texts quoted from signs visible around the church, transcribed exactly as found, with their erroneous spellings.
Each flyer of the series was printed on different paper stock, chosen from the Radraaier’s leftovers. It was exciting to see what could be found on the shelves—not necessarily the favourites or the trendy papers of the moment, but something surprising.
